Late winner at old lady earns Juve second consecutive win in 2019-2020 Season!
Great rivalry, stunning talent, talented players and top teams of Italy faced eachother Saturday night in Turin........Napoli visits Allianz stadium of Juve!
Match started at 8:45pm local time.Juventus were dominant at the early stages of the match while Napoli were also trying their to prevent any kind of loss in the earlier time.To everyone's surprise Juventus brought a change in the first 15 minutes of the game and they substituted Mattia De Sciglio with the Brazilian defender Danilo.He came on the pitch and in the very next minute he scored a goal from inside the box assisted by Douglas Costa.Juventus were leading in the 16th minute of the game and the crowd was cheering their with full energy.
Once again the ball was at the feet of Juventus players and this time it was Gonzalo Higuain in the 19th minute in the box and he dribbled Kaliduo Koulibaly beautifully by moving around the ball and than kicked it into the net with full power!Juventus was once again in front leading by 2-0 in the 19th minute of the game.
Now Napoli was pressurised and the Juventus players were taking full advantage of it.They were pressing the ball so cool and calmly at their home ground and were not showing any sympathy for Napoli.In the first half Napoli went goalless and Carlos Ancelotti substituted two players to get goals in the 45th minute right before the half time.Lorenzo Insigne was substituted with Hirving Lozano while Faouzi Ghoulam was changed with Mario Rui....The refree checked his watch and blowed the half time whistle.....The atmosphere was unparalleled and so excitement was there in the ground.
At the start of the second half the frenchman Blaisi Matuidi was booked in the 52nd minute while in the 60th minute Emre Can was brought in for Sami khedira.After the substitution the Juve were again dominant and they were in Napoli's half and ball goes towards Cristiano Ronaldo and he strikes with his left foot from the edge o the box and scores⚽⚽!
It was 3-0 in the 64th minute of the game but before 66th minute!Napoli were awarded a free kick 10 yards away from the box.Mario Rui the substituent was standing on the ball.....He delivered a perfect assist right in the box on the head of former Roma man Konstantinos Monalos and he scored so easily just putting it right in the left corner and keeper was well beaten.It was 3-1 in the 66th minute!
After few moments later in the 68th minute Napoli were again awarded a free kick and this time Piotr Zielinski took the free kick and delivered a good ball right in the box to Hirving Lozano and he scored with an amazing touch of his knee and it was 3-2 in the 68th minute!
What a great match it was!Now there was chance for Napoli to equalise the scoreline and secure a point for them by drawing the match!Napoli were desperately tryong to snatch another goal but it was looking quite difficult in the injury time.Juve were also playing so delicately and were preventing every threat away by clearing the ball and by taking more and more possession but this time all the luck was with Napoli and they were awarded with a free kick in the 81st minute and this time Jose Mario Callejon took it and delivered a delightful cross in the box and De Lorenzo converted it into a great goal by equalising the scoresheet for the visitors.
Now both the teams were pushing to get one more goal to secure all three points but this team luck was at Juventus side it was extra time,92nd minute of the game when Juventus was awarded a freekick.When the cross was delivered in the box it went straight to Koulibaly and unfortunately instead of clearing the ball it went straight into their own net! Its an own goal and surely now the hosts have secured a win!
Bit unfortunate for Napoli! They did a great comeback but lost that is why we say Football is not fair all the time....
